Production of logs

Our structures and products are made of quality winter spruce wood that meets the parameters for building log structures. We are very careful and keep a close eye on quality when selecting logs. The selected spruce logs are manually debarked and then peeled using a drawknife. We do not grind our structures - GRINDING IRREVERSIBLY DAMAGES WOOD. All the notches where the drawknife cannot be used are finished with special chisels. Then the processed logs are treated against wood pests and transferred to the production plant.

Framework

With the help of our formwork carpenters and various carpentry techniques, the wooden house framework is created:

• peripheral walls
• logs with a central diameter of 25–50 cm
• made of symmetrically trimmed (solid) logs, 20–35 cm thick
  • lapping mortise joints for the log corners
  • dovetail mortise joints for corners
• roof girder system
• truss bearing structure
• expansion bolts
• anchoring beams for internal partitions
• drilling of wiring holes

Assembly of the framework

• it is possible to check the framework directly in the plant before the assembly
• hempen insulation of gutters and headtrees
• the framework transportation is calculated according to the actual distance
• the assembly is made directly on the customer’s plot, taking 1–2 days depending on the size of the structure
• the assembly requires having a crane and appropriate space on the building site
